These are real .drfx templates with editable text and placeholders — the native Resolve experience.
How to install them (recommended: the Standalone app)
The easiest way is the AEJuice Pack Manager Standalone app, because it auto-installs all required fonts for you:
- Open the AEJuice Pack Manager Standalone app.
- In Settings, set the program to DaVinci Resolve.
- Make sure DaVinci Resolve is open, and that scripting is enabled: Resolve → Preferences → System → General → “External scripting using” → Local.
- Click Import on the item (do not drag it — DaVinci does not support drag-and-drop; the file downloads on import).
How to find and use them after installing
Important: the native packs do not drop onto your timeline automatically. Installing adds them to Resolve’s template library. To use one, open the Effects panel in Resolve and find it under the matching category (Titles, Transitions, Generators / Effects), then drag it from there onto your clip — exactly like any built-in Resolve template. Then edit its text and placeholders.
Make sure you are on the latest version of Pack Manager so DaVinci install is available:
- Windows: https://aejuice.com/pack_manager/AEJuice_Pack_Manager.zip
- Mac: https://aejuice.com/pack_manager/AEJuice_Pack_Manager_mac.zip
Alternative: download from your account
You can also download the DaVinci Resolve version of any pack you own from Animation Plugins and Presets for After Effects - AEJuice
If you go this route, install the fonts yourself: each download includes a list of the fonts used inside the pack folder — install those before opening the project so all text renders correctly. (The Standalone app does this step automatically, which is why we recommend it.)
The rest of the catalog — prerendered in Standalone
Even packs without a native DaVinci project are still usable in Resolve: the Standalone app offers 200+ products (208 at last count) as ready-to-use prerendered video files, plus sound effects. Unlike the native templates, these do drop straight onto your timeline when you click Import — no Effects library, no fonts, no host app needed. Between the native DaVinci projects above and the prerendered library, there is a huge amount to work with.
Tips
- Free DaVinci Resolve works for most items; a few advanced features may need DaVinci Resolve Studio.
- If a pack does not appear, check that the program in Settings is set to DaVinci Resolve, then re-download that pack for the DaVinci program.
