FIX: Template imports with wrong / washed-out colors in Premiere Pro (macOS, Premiere 2026)

If a template imports into Premiere Pro with the wrong colors - washed out, oversaturated, or just visibly different from the preview - especially on macOS with Premiere Pro 2026, this was a bug in the pack files and it is fixed.

What was happening

Some MOGRT templates carried a color setting that made Premiere interpret their colors incorrectly on import, so the result looked off compared to what you saw in the preview. It showed up mainly on macOS with Premiere Pro 2026.

What we did

We corrected it across all packs at the beginning of July 2026. Newly built and re-exported pack files import with the right colors. New packs are unaffected - only packs you downloaded before the fix still carry the old files.

How to fix it

Redownload the affected pack so you get the corrected files:

  1. In Pack Manager, right-click the pack box and choose “Delete files”.
  2. Click the box again to download the latest version.
  3. Import the item again.

This is a pack-file fix, so do not spend time on color-management settings - the redownload is what corrects it. If colors still look wrong after redownloading, send us a report with Shift+W in Pack Manager and tell us the pack, the item, and your Premiere version and OS.
