Premiere Pro. About XML export errors

MOGRTs (motion graphics templates) are complex files that store animations, effects, and customizable options created in After Effects and brought into Premiere Pro. They allow for dynamic customization like adjusting colors, text, and timing. However, these advanced features don’t always translate well into XML—a format primarily designed to store straightforward video and audio editing data, not layered animations or effects.

When exporting an XML, Premiere Pro attempts to break down every component of the project, including the intricate data from MOGRT files. Since XML can’t interpret the complexity of MOGRT files directly, it can result in export errors or missing elements in the XML file.

Why This Is Not an AEJuice Issue
AEJuice MOGRT files use standard Adobe processes and formats, so the issue lies with XML’s limitations, not with AEJuice products. XML isn’t built to handle the animated, layered structure of MOGRT files, whether from AEJuice or any other provider.

How to Work Around It

  • Bake Transitions: For AEJuice transitions, using the “Bake” option creates a video file of the transition, simplifying the data and avoiding XML issues.

  • Import Other MOGRTs as Video: By right-clicking on non-transition MOGRTs and selecting “Import as Video,” you convert them into a simpler format compatible with XML export. While this reduces customization, it allows a smoother XML export.

Using these methods helps ensure AEJuice MOGRT files work smoothly in XML exports, despite XML’s inherent limitations with motion graphics.
